The ABNHW is having the following approaches, support by the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) and the City Police Windhoek, towards making Auasblick an even safer suburb. We, as Neighbours and Friends, monitor, observe and report suspicious activities. We never engage with criminals ourselves, as we are NOT the Police.

Our activities include:

• Patrols throughout Auasblick
• 24/7 CCTV surveillance
• Stationary monitoring of activities in Auasblick
• Reporting of misuse of public space to the City of Windhoek (e.g. illegal dumping)

The Auasblick Neighbourhood Watch is a non-profit community group of friends (=neighbours) in Auasblick.

 We are the "eyes and ears" of the community, thereby helping to safeguard the community against criminal activities and to strive for a safe and secure environment for all to live in. Wer are closely working with the Namibian Police Force (NamPol), the Windhoek City Police as well as private security companies and armed response units.
